Welcome to The Robert Alan Pentelovitch Studio of Fine Arts virtual studio and gallery!

My entire life has revolved around the creation of objects of art, though I have excercised a broad definition of the objects I consider art, so the work depicted herein shall be confined to paintings, drawings, serigraphs, etchings, lithographs, etc...

I was formally educated as a Fine Artist at two prestigious Colleges, The Minneapolis College of Arts and Design where I received a Batchelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1978, and The San Francisco Art Institute where I was awarded a Master of Fine Arts Degree in 1980.

After receiving my degrees I moved to New York to pursue my career as an artist and I have been fortunate to have continually operated my two studios for almost thirty years. Having been included in many prestigious gallery, corporate, and museum shows over the years was only eclipsed by being awarded a fellowship from The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation in 1991.

My imagery covers a broad spectrum of subject matter and has evolved in a calculated progression from work to work, genre to genre, and my technique has constantly improved to a point that I believe my current work is the best I've ever produced.

Over the years I have been blessed with many sales of my work to collectors who have shown their appreciation and enthusiasm for my paintings. The encouragement and support of my wife, Jan, has afforded me the opportunity to pursue my dreams to their full extent and she is the greatest patron of the arts in my world. Another person of incredible influence and support is Myron Kunin who collected my art at an early point in my career and provided financial support to allow me to move to New York and be the artist I am today. Mr. Kunin has many of my works in his prestigious Regis collection and has introduced me to various people in the art world who assisted me to establish myself along the way.

Please take time to explore this virtual tour of my work and consider that these images do not do justice to the work when compared to enjoying them in person. Of course I am always interested in expanding my collector network and encourage discussions related to exhibiting or purchasing the work that is still available. My email address is pentelovitch@msn.com and I would enjoy your comments if you care to critique my work or simply want to be included in future exhibition notifications.

Thank you for taking your valuable time to view my life's work - I truly appreciate the fact that you have done so, and that I was able to share my work with you!

As a footnote I would be remiss if I did not mention my automotive afilliation and affinity for collecting and restoring classic cars so please visit my other website, www.vehiclefetch.com if you'd like to see our collection and see more of my work.
